Dropshot was founded by me in 2009. Over the last fifteen years I have advised many of my friends on the buying and selling of their cars, some mainstream saloons, some specialist sports cars. One happy recipient of my help suggested I turn it into a business, so here we are.

I am a business consultant by profession, and a qualified accountant and law graduate by training. This combination enables me to provide a tailored service which is consultative in nature and sympathetic to your needs. At the same time I can be robust with third parties in negotiation and in the validation of the condition of your target car.

I am also nuts about cars. I compete in a national motorsport series and have owned a series of specialist marques including Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus, Jaguar, Caterham and Van Diemen.

Dropshot only works with clients who live in the Buckinghamshire/Berkshire/Hertfordshire/Oxfordshire areas. I live near Great Missenden. Physical proximity to the car is important, and I believe that this kind of service only works where the initial trust is built through personal recommendation. My clients are happy to act as referees and they are local people, like you.

I aim to save you money, increase your confidence in the process and allow some of the fun of changing cars back into the transaction.
